MultiMed Engineers at IDE 2025: Advancing BD4QoL with the Power of AI

ide2025bd4qolMultiMed Engineers participated in the IDE 2025 Conference, held in Monopoli on September 3–5, 2025, presenting how the outcomes of the BD4QoL project can be further enhanced and translated into practical solutions. The presentation explored how Large Language Models (LLMs) — now transforming many of the technical foundations behind BD4QoL — can drive the next evolution of digital health and patient empowerment.

In line with the IDE 2025 “flipped logic” format, where industry takes the stage and academia engages from the audience, MultiMed Engineers showcased real-world applications and ongoing research stemming from BD4QoL.

This unique exchange fostered valuable discussion on how our work in digital self-empowerment and self-management for patient prevention — including the tertiary prevention approaches pioneered in BD4QoL — can be scaled and accelerated through modern AI, paving the way toward market-ready, patient-centered solutions.
